As if by clockwork, I'm up early packing to teach TCJF's 2nd jewelry class at Bright View Independent Living in Perry Hall and the phone rings - it's another HCPS 2 hour delay. Lucky we have good neighbors, oh Jenny...
What's on the agenda for Bright View residents? 3 fun, easy to take on and off bracelet styles; magnetic, stretchy & memory wire. I learned a lot from TCJF's 1st class here, and am even more excited for today! Can't wait to hang out with some fabulous folks and help them with their creations! Class pictures to follow.
10 hours later today and finally putting finishing touches on website! Woot, getting it in a whole 17 minutes ahead of my midnight deadline. Plenty of time.... SO happy with the latest website. Here's to not needing another overhaul for AWHILE. Nighty night and sweet dreams should anyone actually read this tonight. xoxox Sarah
Cannot even begin to express how excited I am to share in person our Winter Style Guide at the upcoming LAUNCH PARTY. This has been an evolution of a partnership between TCJF and 2 very close friends and business owners; Jen Snyder, Photographer and personal stylist Wendy Wright of The Wright Fit.
Be there or be square - see you February 21st for a fun day of celebrating, sharing and giveaways at the Launch Party hosted by Nicole Markopoulos, owner of the beautiful new Coco Leigh Hair Boutique.
I like snow and winter possibly more than the average south of the Mason Dixon line resident, but at this very moment I couldn't be happier to see the sunshine and NO snow, ice or frost! The seasons and weather inspire me, so I wanted to share some rays of sunshine and custom stamped metal jewelry that are perfect for Mother's Day, Graduation gifts and more. Enjoy the day!!
Two sets of earrings being given away as door prizes. One today and one tomorrow for the Holiday Bazaar at Aberdeen Proving Ground recreation center between 10a and 2p. Both are antiqued silver chandelier earrings with sterling silver ear wires. The first with a lovely red bamboo coral and the second with turquoise magnesite. Festive colors to start the Christmas shopping season. Come out and get a jump on your shopping. Why not pick out some lovely handcrafted jewelry for that special someone. Hope to see you there.
Having fun playing with new letter stamps and delicate angel wings. Love mixing silver, copper, and antiqued brass metals with different chains. Bright, beautiful turquoise and rainbow moonstone are used in two of the necklaces. Let your imagination take flight, endless possibilities, now taking custom orders for the holidays. Email us your request.
A few new pieces, being shown off first at Wendy Wright's 'Fall Style for All' workshop, Thursday Nov 7, 6p at Barely Used Consignments on Main St, Bel Air. Peruvian Persuasion uses a found pendant that I wire wrapped with semi-precious amazonite and Peruvian blue opals; those same elements are also incorporated in the chain. Bold Red is 5 rich strands of red bamboo coral on antiqued brass chain. The third is a vintage chain woven with hematite and gold beads that can be worn as a triple strand bracelet (shown) or long as a chic 23 inch necklace. There is no reason your jewelry cannot multi-task and work for you!
In a word. Glee. Kids in a candy store is an understatement! Matt and I finally made it to our first bead show! Expectations were exceeded - high quality, unique pieces, amazing selection. We survived, wallet mostly intact, inspired and can't wait to play! Stay tuned for new designs....
Pictures can only do so much justice to these gorgeous beads! Vibrant trade beads, red and brown tigereye, carnelian, agate, jasper, green goldstone, jade, aquamarine, amazonite, blue opal, black labradorite, turquoise, amethyst, smoky quartz, citrine - to name a few of what I have to play with now! :D
The idea of photographing, editing, importing, writing descriptions, pricing, linking, categorizing just to get all my new items on the website is a very daunting undertaking. So in order to expedite the process and allow everyone to remain current on what I'm creating and where I will be.... da da da daaaa.... a blog. I hope to share more regularly all the TCJF's happenings with just a little less mess on our end. Love to all, check back to see what I'm up to next week. And keep up with where I will be with our new Google Calendar on the home page.
Half of TCJF, I'm (Sarah) just a woman following her passion of jewelry making and thankful for my awesome family (Matt, the other half of TCJF, with our 2 kids) and this opportunity.
